Single-Season Player Cards
Ever wanted to use a highly specified and limited time machine to go back and evaluate NHL player performance for a specific season from the past few years? Well here’s your chance with the Single-Season Player Cards. With these, you have the opportunity to select any player since the 2020-21 season and select any of their played years. In addition to the “Name” & “SPAR” drop-downs which the multi-year cards also sport, this tool has an extra “Season” option at the top-middle of the graphic.

When it comes to differences with the multi-year cards, this viz has the selected player’s rank relative to his team, position, and entire league available on the right. The only other new feature on these cards is the SPAR% Timeline displayed at the bottom for each skater. These illustrate the player’s overall skill progression while highlighting the selected season.
